Program Introduction
Prior to attending A Step Above, the consumer will be assessed by the Program Director. The assessment will be comprehensive and address the consumer. It will collect information related to individuals strength and weaknesses, needs, likes and dislikes, developmental status, medical status, functional skills levels, and behavior baseline.
Our goal is to provide programs for the consumers to develop skills, behaviors and attitudes that are essential to community interactions.
Consumer Assessment
The ISP (Individuals Service Plan) is developed with the intention of helping the consumer with community integration. The ISP is completed within 30 days of placement in the program and includes general goals, specific training, and/or support objectives. The ISP agreed to by the consumer and his/her legal guardian with the approval from the consumer’s Regional Center Service Coordinator.
